Tim Tebow

General Partner

Tim’s leadership shapes the Fund’s ultimate purpose — to drive faith-driven impact, demonstrate servant leadership, and bring awareness to humanitarian efforts worldwide.

Tim Tebow was born in the Philippines in 1987. He developed a strong passion for serving people and sharing God’s word after spending his early years working at his father’s ministry orphanage. Shortly after his family returned to the States, Tim began his football career in Pop Warner at Lakeshore Athletic Association in his hometown of Jacksonville, FL. During this time, his parents instilled in him the importance of keeping God, family, and service to others first.

Tim went on to play high school football at Nease High School where he led his team to a State Title his senior year, was twice named Florida’s Player of the Year, earned All-State honors, and was named Florida Mr. Football. Tim continued his outreach by frequently visiting the Philippines in an effort to share the gospel and God’s love with children.

His success continued throughout his college career at the University of Florida where he won two NCAA National Championship titles and was the first-ever sophomore to win the Heisman. Tim became well known for his bible verse eye black and his spring break trips to a Philippine orphanage. He also worked with the UF student government to begin the “1st and 15” program to benefit children with cancer.

Tim was drafted in 2010 by the Denver Broncos and immediately began the Tim Tebow Foundation. Tim remains committed to his Foundation through his time, talent, and treasure because he firmly believes that leaving a legacy is not about trophies and wins, but about bringing faith, hope, and love to others.
